Our restaurant is perched on the cliff of the Rio Grande, overlooking a private nature preserve.  We enjoy gentle breezes from the east, and listening to the Laughing Falcons that perch on a giant Kapok tree on the other side of the canyon.  Our chef picks the dinner special each day based on what we have freshest.  Enjoy international cuisine with a Costa Rican flare.  All of our meals are designed as heart healthy, and we are proud to offer a variety of choices to suite every palate and dietary requirement.
 

Vista del Valle is in the heart of the Costa Rican Coffee region, located in the district of El Rosario de Naranjo.

You can still see our neighbors hand harvesting shade grown coffee.

On any given day, you might find yourself behind a truck full of the aromatic red beans on their way to the Co-op, or witness the beauty of the coffee fields in the full bloom of tiny white Jasmine scented flowers.  Or perhaps take a ride on one of our Horseback tours through the town and into a Coffee Plantation, taking in the vistas of the Central Valle, and the surrounding Mountains and Volcanoes.  We can see 4 volcanoes from our place and from a nearby ridge we can even see Volcano Arenal.

Just a short 20 minutes west of the international airport with spectacular views of the central valley it is the perfect place to start and finish your Costa Rica vacation as well as to use as a base for explorations.   Although we are a convenient location to access the airport we recommend that you stay for more than 2 days. Many of our guests have suggested stays of 3-5 days to get the full advantage of the location.
